girō turns the places you already saved into a plan you'll actually use. Not a feed. Not a top ten. Your own taste, finally sorted.

the problem

Saving is easy. Deciding is the hard part.

Every trip started the same way. A folder of saved reels. A screenshot of a friend's text. A notes app list from a city I visited two years ago. I'd done the research, I just couldn't find it when it mattered.

So I'd be standing on a corner at 7pm, hungry, scrolling past the exact restaurant I'd saved six months earlier, and end up somewhere fine. Fine is a waste of a good save.

All that saving, and I still ate at the place with the shortest line.

what it does

Two levels. That's the whole idea.

Import what you've saved — a screenshot, a link, a list. girō files it twice: into lists by vibe, like a slow Sunday or a birthday dinner, and into places by type, so you can find the coffee without scrolling past the museums.

Then it stays quiet until you're nearby, and taps you on the shoulder.

who's behind it

Hi — I'm Angela.

I've spent fifteen years as a creative director, which mostly means I've spent fifteen years organizing other people's ideas until they made sense. girō is the first time I've pointed that at my own.

I built it because I'm the user. I oversave, I overresearch, and I still want someone to just tell me where to go. girō is that someone, except it's only ever repeating your own good taste back to you at the right moment.

It's built in Los Angeles, tested on real weekends, and shaped by everyone who's ever sent me a list I never opened.
